Vivinavi Los Angeles免許証を落としました

今日免許証を落としてしまいました。
外に落としたのは確実だと思うので、誰かが拾っている事と思います。
お財布ごとカード類も全部落としたので、それらはすでにすべて止めましたが、免許証もなにか“止める Stop? deactivate?”作業等は必要でしょうか?
DMVサイトを見てみたら、再発行などの事は書いてありましたが、“直ちに（なにかを）止めるべき”的な事柄は見当たりませんでした。
免許証の裏には磁気かなにかで情報の様なものが書き込まれてますよね?
なにか悪用されるのが心配です。
また、「盗まれたらPoliceへリポートするように」との記述がありましたのでリポートはするつもりですが、少し立て込んでいるので、そんなに急がなくても大丈夫ならば3～4日後に行くつもりです。
直ちにするべきならばすぐ行きますが、その辺も含めてなにかご存知の方、経験者の方いましたら、アドバイスお願いできますでしょうか。

落とした物が戻ってくるなんて、アメリカも捨てたもんじゃないですね！
私は落し物をしないよう結構気を使っていた方なので、実はお財布を落としたのは人生初でした。 だから結構ショックだったんです。
日本なら戻ってくる確立が高そうですが、アメリカではそんな事はまずありえないと思ってました。
でも考えを改める必要がありそうですね。

あらかじめポストにお菓子と“届けてくれてありがとう”のレターを入れて おくべきか、、、。
それはさておき、悪用されるかもと覚悟するのは当然として、戻ってくるかもと希望を持つのも大事ですね。

お二方、免許証は戻ってきても現金だけは抜かれてたというのも複雑ですね。
さしずめ”落し物を届けてあげる代”といったところでしょうか。
でも両方戻ってこないよりは断然いいですね。

カウンターで名前と生年月日をいうと、職員のモニターに顔写真付きのデータが出てきました。それでもう少し詳しい情報(住所やどこのDMVで取得したか)を伝えたら、OKでした。
