Vivinavi Los Angeles壁に棚をつけたい

素人ですが、部屋に棚をつけたいと思っています。
以前試したことがあり、一箇所は上手くできましたが、もう一箇所は釘がスカッと抜けてしまい諦めて穴をふさいだのですが、諦められません。
壁の後に木が入っている場所に取り付けるという情報は貰いましたが、コンコンと壁を叩いてみたけど全く区別がつきません。
上手くできる方法があれば教えてください。
ちなみに、壁に棚をつけても良い環境下です。

だからね、重力のある場所では（これホント?）水平じゃないものをささえるのは長期的には無理がある。 長いことたつうちにガタがくる。 それで大工さんは何度も何度もレベルをつかうって確かめるんだよ。 見た目をすっきるさせるためじゃないよ。 HGTVのショーなんかでは安物のレベルはだめと言ってるけど、コップ、ビー玉もいいと投稿してみよう。

体もガタガタ
床が傾斜したら大問題よ。ベッドは傾斜に合わせて頭の方角をかえないとね。
