Vivinavi Los Angeles貯金にかかる税金

離婚により家を売却した財産を折半することになりました。
３０万ドルになります。
とりあえず saving accountに入れるしかないのですが、この場合、どのくらい税金がかかるものなのでしょうか？
税金について分かりやいサイトなど教えてください。
またインベストするなら何処にしたら良いのでしょう？
これまでお金の事は夫にまかせきりだったので、戸惑っています。
良きアドバイスをお願いします。

LOTTOで当たった金額からはどのくらいの税金を収めたのですか？
これはインカムとなるので勿論税金はかかりますよね？

＞私はTAXを払う義務があるということですか？？
CD１万ドルの利子はそれほどでもないし、それだけのもうけなら申告しなくてもいいらしい。確か６千ドルとか（古い情報かもしれないが）以下は申告しなくてもいいとか。誰か最新の情報を教えてあげるといいですね。
日本人アカウンタントはかなり正直に申告するが、中国系アカウンタントは要領がいいですね。中国系のアカウンタントに切り替えたらバックが激しく増えました。
仮に申告漏れがあったにせよ罰金はその利子分だけにであり、罰金のほうが安いと中国系アカウンタントの弁です。つまりそれだけ彼らは要領がいいんです。別に問題ありませんでした。万一何かあっても投獄される訳でもないとか。庶民レベルの申告ですからね。

ぶん太さんコメントありがとうございました。ちなみに利子は１年間に＄６０ぐらいでしたが、いきなりあのようなFORMがおくられてきたので、びっくりしてしまいました。しかも学生でなにも収入なんてないのに・・・・ではそのままにしておいて大丈夫ということですよね・・・・

初心者な者で申し訳ありませんが、税金はいくら貯金した時から払わなければならないのでしょうか？ ちなみに大して入ってないので、いつもcheckingの方に貯金しているのですが、その場合も払わなければなりませんか？

税金は貯金そのものにかかるのではなく、貯金の利子に対してかかります。
なかには利子がつくタイプのCHECKINGもありますが、普通のCHECKINGだったら利子がつかないので税金もかかりません。
