現地（アメリカ）で加入するのと日本で加入するのどっちがお得？そりゃ色んな会社があって、色んなプランがあるから一概には言えないだろうけど、ちなみに私は日本で入るなら年間約９万円で特に治療費を多く負担してくれるのを選んでます。でも結局そっち（ＬＡ）で入院とかしたら１日何百万もかかるって聞いて、日本の保険では１週間も入院したらカバー額オーバーしちゃうんです（涙）
私は１年間の保険に加入したいんだけど、最初の３ヶ月間は格安の保険に加入してます。後はそっちで残りの９ヶ月カバーできる保険に入りたいんですけど、学生の皆さんはどこの保険のどんなプランに入ってます？ちなみに詳しい保険料も教えてください！本気で悩んでます

海外旅行保険入ったけど、結局ｶﾚｯｼﾞの保険には強制加入だったから無駄だったよ。知ってれば海外保険入らなかったのに・・・

そう、8ばんさんがいっているとおり、学校によっては留学生に強制加入をしいたりしますよねー。うちの場合、海外保険をもってて、それが例えば疾病にはいくらまでとかカバーされてないと駄目とかその他色々と制約があり、それがカバーされてないと学校の保険に強制加入でした。でないと、レジスターのパッケージがもらえない。まあ、抜け道があるんだけど、それはここではかけない。

＃8さん、それ何処のカレッジ？ひどいね・・・・普通は日本の保険持ってたら、入らなくても可なのに！強制的に加入させる権利はないと思います。

かなみららさん私も目からうろこ！その情報知ってる人少ないと思う。私も提示されてる金額って年間で算出してるんだと思ってたから・・まさか１回の手術や入院毎に支払われるとはねー・・ばら掛けも面倒だからと最初から頭にはなかったけど、見直してみる価値大有りですね。
総合的に判断すると日本の保険会社の方がいいってことですね。皆さん親切にレスありがとうございました＾＾
