私の会社は日本からの駐在員である私に車、ガス、家賃代を負担してくれず、まるで現地採用者扱い(現地採用者の方を悪く言ってるわけではありません)。そのくせMANAGERやなんやらとTITLEだけは与えて仕事をさせようとしてます。そんなひどい会社は他にもあるのでしょうか？
又駐在員(私はE1ビザ)の副業は税法、移民法(?)で問題になるのでしょうか？

渡米される前にこちらでの待遇とかを会社側と全く話さなかったという事でしょうか？自分の身は自分で守らないと、奥さんにもつらい想いをさせてしまいますよ。帰国してでもとことん納得するまで話し合うべきじゃないでしょうか？この先「こんなひどい会社で、、」と思いながら働き続けたら体を壊してしまいますよ。自分は貴方の会社にとってこれだけの待遇を受ける価値がある人材なんだと説得するべきです。頑張って下さい。

奥さんもいらっしゃるなら、なおさら大変になると思います。
現地の方には“何、甘えた事を！”と言われてしまいそうですが、会社が必要だからこそ、アメリカで仕事を持たせている。その負担（家賃など）は会社が持つものでは？治安の良いところに住もうとするならば家賃も高いし奥さん用の車も必要になってくるはず。結構な費用がかかるんでは？Akihiro Miwaさんと同じ意見で、会社ともう一度話した方がいいのではないのでしょうか。仕事も大変。そのうえ、奥さんも一緒だと色々と大変だと思いますよ。

他の会社の駐在員の方と比べると、車や家賃の補助が無いのはひどい！！ということになるかもしれませんがウチは研究員という立場で現地に来たので、主人の給料以外は保険の補助がちょっとあるだけで後は全部自己負担です☆大変ですががんばっています そういう日本人も結構いますし、がんばっていますが…

うちの会社は米国が本社なので転籍する社員が結構いますが、辞令ではなく本人からの希望です。ですから割と条件でもめたことはないです。（私、担当なんです）ビザは会社が費用を全額サポートしますが、それ以外の引越し費用や車購入費・アパート費用に対する費用は会社では負担しないが、それでもいいですか？って確認して「それでも行きたい。」という人のみ転籍させています。再度 会社の人事担当の人に条件面を聞いてみたほうがいいと思います。会社の命令ならば行く前に確認すべきでしたね。
