今度、此処LAからハワイへ旅行する予定なのですが、ハワイへ行くにはパスポートが必要なのでしょうか?
同じアメリカですが、何かパスポートを持っていかなければならないというようなお話を聞いたことがありますので少し気になってます。
ご存知の方教えてください。

他の身分証明書がないなら持って行ったほうが良いんじゃないの。

確かに、物理的にアメリカの外に出ることになりますが、パスポートコントロールは通りません。

空港でチェックインする時のIDが必要なので、免許証などがあればパスポートは要らないです♪

なにかあったらどうやって日本人ですって証明するんだろう。大使館、領事館のお世話になる可能性は十分考えられるのにいらないって言っている人の考えていることがよくわからない。

国内旅行なので基本的にはいりませんが、国籍がアメリカでないなら常にパスポートを持ち歩く義務があるので、ハワイへいくときももっていくべきです。

ドライバーズライセンスだけで大丈夫ですよ。ただ、２番の方がおっしゃるように、特に身分を証明するものがないのであればパスポートが必要ですね。写真つきの身分証明書が空港でも必要です。
