日本人家族で、家族全員ＧＣです。子供は１０歳です。
今年で１０年目、ＧＣの更新ではなく、アメリカ市民権の申請を考えていますが、
この場合、子供はステイタスはどうなるのでしょうか?
一緒にアメリカ市民権取得が可能なら同時にしたいのですが、アメリカ市民権申請の
条件に１８歳以上であることというのがあります。過去の経験談から親がアメリカ市民権
を取ったと同時に子供にも国籍が与えられたという話を聞きました。うちの場合、私と子供のＧＣ
の有効期限は同じで私が市民権を取得するころにはＧＣの期限が切れてしまいます。
私は市民権申請、子供はＧＣ更新申請を行ったほうがいいのでしょうか?
どちらもＦｉｌｉｎｇ ｆｅｅがかかるので、出来るだけ無駄のないようにしたいです。
Ｎ－６００というフォームの意味も、、調べてもよくわからないので、
どなたか詳しい方教えていただけないでしょうか?よろしくお願いします。
