4月からトーランスに住む予定です。アパートで日本とのメールやり取りなどに，電話回線でのインターネットを引きたいと考えています。So-netかAsahi-netで電話回線の使い放題の契約をしてからいこうか（so-netの方が海外でも日本語サポートがいいと聞いていますが）と思案中です。そちらの電話契約は，ローカルコールとトールコールという，市内でも２つの区分があると聞きました。ただ，そちらで電話の契約でローカルコールはフラットレートで契約し，アクセスポイントがローカルコールの範囲内であれば，月2000円程度の契約料で，24時間，使い放題と思うのですが，トーランスの場合，so-net(213-985-4496/213-784-4496)，asahi-net(213-330-0518/213-620-8910)のLAでのアクセス番号は，ローカルコールにあたるのでしょうあｋ。ご存知のかた，あるいはすでに同様な方法で使われている方がおられれば，ご教示ください。よろしくお願いします。

ローカルコールには当たりません。これだとかなり電話代がかさみそうですね。
ＬＡでポピュラーなプロバイダーと契約したほうがいいですよ。EARTHLINKとか一杯あります。電話は契約の際、フラットレートを申し込めば市内電話はかけ放題で月25ドルくらいです。

LAのプロパイダーは高いし、日本に帰ったら使えないけどね・・・。
トーランスは310なので、213だローカルにはならないですが、契約の種類にもよります。213でもフラットになる契約もあります。

多分、310エリアコードのアクセス番号があるはず。調べて見ましょう。
