まだ運営されているドライブインシアターはLA近郊でありますか？どんどん潰れているらしく、ウェブに掲載されている情報は1年前でももう古い様子。跡地は大抵swap meetになってます。

ドライブインシアターは過去のものとなっていますね。都会の真ん中であの広さを使っていてはペイしないのでしょう。なにせあれは暗くならないと商売にならないですからね。どんどん別なビジネスに転用されています。
私も子供が小さいときは泣かれてもいいように、よくドライブインシアターに行きました。年がばれてしまいますが、 Jaws や Exorcist などを見ました。今思うとドライブインシアターが繁栄していたころは古きよき時代だったのか。ところで American Graffiti のシーンにもありましたが、きれいなお姉ちゃんがローラースケートでハンバーガーを運んでくれるドライブイン・バーガーショップが OC のどこかにありましたが、まだあるのかなぁ。

俺も一度は行ってみたいと思って探したことはありますが、もうないみたいっす。昔から住んでる人に聞いたりもしたけど、全部なくなってる。
