NY州に引っ越すことになったのですが、ここで取った免許を書き換えることって可能なんでしょうか？
どなたか経験者いらっしゃいませんか？
もう一つついでに。
車そのものの輸送ってどれくらいの値段でできるのでしょうか？そういうサービスがあるのは知ってるんですが、どこの企業がやってくれるのか情報がないもので・・どなたか詳しい方、ご教授願います。

車の輸送は面倒ですが電話帳でシッピングカンパニーに片っ端から電話して調べるしかないですね。インターネットでもできるかも。I want to ship a car from California to New York. How much will it be?とでも切り出すでしょうか。自分はオハイオからロスに引越ししたときにジープを運んでもらいました。あのトレーラーにジープがすっぽり入ってしまったので驚きです。

カリフォルニア州の免許からNY州の免許に書き換えることは出来ます。多分、筆記試験だけ受ける事になると思います。NY州の運輸局のWebSiteに出てると思います。
私は、他州からCA州に引っ越してきました。その場合は、筆記試験だけでした。

お二方、お返事どうもありがとうございました。
免許の書き換えもできそうで安心しました。また最初からドライビング試験も受けないといけないのか、と心配していました。。
DMVのHPを見れば書いてあるかもしれませんね。
輸送の会社は確かに電話帳を見れば分かりますよね。。何で気づかなかったんだろう・・・

書き換えは可能だと思いますよ。ただ筆記とかは軽くあるかもしれませんが。友達はオレゴンからカリフォルニアの免許に書き換える時筆記テストだけで済んだらしいし。車の輸送は探せばいっぱいあると思います。前にどっかで紹介されてた気がするけど・・。
