College is not a waste of time and money if you make it a major that directly leads to a job.
Many students choose engineering or business as their major for the time being, but

I wish I had taken ＃ 22's advice 30 years ago.
I graduated from a four-year college with a major that did nothing for my job.
Even my school counselor didn't give me that advice back then. So after graduation I looked for a job and got one where I could get hired.
This is how I ended up going to college without a plan. I think there are a lot of people like that in LA.
And now, while raising my children, I often wish I had more money.
If I had known this advice 30 years ago, my life would have been much different.
