はじめに一つ、俺は戦争支持者ではありません。反戦を掲げる人たちに聞きたいことがあります。
皆さんは戦争が一刻も早く終わること、犠牲者が少しでも増えないことを望んでいることと思われます。では、戦争が終わったらなにをしますか？戦争反対と騒いでる人々のいったい何割が次のことを考えているでしょうか？戦争が終わっても、難民は世界中にいるのです。親のいない子、食べ物がない子、病気の子は、いつもどこかにいます。それが当たり前になりつつあるので、戦争のように毎日ＴＶで取り上げられないだけです。戦争に巻き込まれるよりも、よっぽどひどい環境にいるのにです。
戦争が終わったらもうなにもしない、もとの生活に戻る。それはただの自己満足かつ偽善的行為なのではないでしょうか？

例えそれが自己満足かつ偽善的行為であれ、問題意識を持つ事は必要ではないですか？特に日本という国に住んでいるとそういう事が非現実のように感じる傾向があると思うので。
ロンドンの数回にわたるデモに参加して思ったのは、ああいう風に、国民が自分達の意志を訴えるという動きが自然に起こるということの大切さでした。結局戦争は始まってデモの効果はなかったけれど、それでもああいった活動を起こす強いパッションがこちらの人にはあって、それは曖昧で様子をうかがう日本人にも必要な事ではないかと感じました。

戦争は今、世界が抱える一番大きな問題ってだけだよ。戦いのない世界が始まったとして、そこにはまた問題が生じるだろうし。なんなら、生きてる人が多すぎて困った、、とかにもなるかもね。世界中で反戦を叫んでる人は、今のこの問題を避けたいだけ。罪もない人に死で欲しくないだけだよ。それが終わればまた別の問題に取りかかる。誰も難民や飢えや貧困を忘れたわけじゃないよ。死に瀕した人たちを助ける傍らで、元気な人を殺していくのは単純におかしいでしょ？
