コミカレに通っています。トランスファーを予定していますが、ここでオーナーズプログラムの手紙が届きました。
現在は１年目、志望が理系学部なので卒業には２年半を予定していました。オーナーズと言うからには成績優秀だと認められたわけですが、卒業が６か月延びて３年となります。
・プログラムを受けてトランスファーした場合、希望大学の合格率が高くなるものでしょうか?
・外国人にもスカラシップを受けられる可能性が高まりますか?
四大トランスファーの足かせになるくらいなら受けずに、大人しく２年半で十分ではないかとも考えています。６か月延びると、お金の追加分も有りますので、受けるべきかどうかを迷っています。宜しくお願い致します。

質問への答え：
1）希望大学がどこかにもよります。UC系ならそこまで有利には働きませんが（あっても多少有利に働くと言う程度）、オーナーズをとることで他州の大学からオファーが来ることもあります。詳細については学校のカウンセラーに聞いた方が確実だと思います
2）他州の大学から期限付き（1年とか2年とか）のスカラーシップを受けられる可能性が高まります。でもカリフォルニア州内の四年制大学を狙うならスカラーシップは期待しない方が良いと個人的に思います
ただ思うのはオーナーズプログラム（学生番号を入力するだけでそのクラスに入ることが認められる）はそうでないクラスと比べると質が高いです。問題は難しくなりますが、議論も活発に出来ます。純粋に何かを学びたいのであれば絶好の場です！お金が掛るのはそうですが、社会人になってしまうと纏まって学ぶ時間、そして勉強のことだけ考えていられる時間が少なくなってしまいます。学生で居られる間ならば、思いっきり勉強しておくととても充実した時間を過ごせるのではないかと思います（必ずしもトランスファーという短期ゴールには直結しなくてもね）
