Vivinavi Los Angeles入院途中にビザがきれたら・・。

私の友達がこっちで病気になってしまい入退院を繰り返しています。彼女は学生なのですがF−１ビザがこの間きれたあげくにＩ−２０も来月の中旬ごろにきれてしまうそうです。今も病気で退院は来月には出来るかもしれませんが治療後すぐに長時間飛行機に乗るのも無理そうです。この場合も違法滞在にやはりなってしますのでしょうか。何かご存知の方がいらっしゃれば教えてください。

イミグレに病気入院、治療過程であるので通学が不可能であるという手紙とドクターズノート、あと何かそのことを証明できるペーパーワークを送れば、学校へ通わなくても滞在できるらしいという話をきいたことがありますが、学校のカウンセラーに一度聞いてみたらどうでしょう？こういうことってそんなに頻繁におこることでもないだろうけど、全くおこらないわけでもないと思うので、過去のケースをどう対応したかとか、何かしら知っていると思います。お友達早く良くなるといいですね。

ご心配ありがとうございます。学校に問い合わせたらはやり たしか さんと同じことをおっしゃっていました。ただ友人の場合Ｉ−２０も切れてしまうのでその更新をして５ヶ月だけは病気を理由に滞在できるそうです。
