車のフロントガラスにひびが入ってしまいました。以前ガラスのひびがそれ以上進まないようにする何かがあると聞いたんですがご存知の方がいれば教えてください。それともしフロントガラスを取り替えるには幾らかかるんでしょうか？

ひびの大きさにもよりますが、PEP BOYS とか Auto Zone とかで Windshield Glass Repair Kit などの名前で売ってるものが使えると思いますよ。オンラインなら9ドル位で売ってる商品です。
使い方も簡単ですが、あまり大きなヒビは無理かと。ガラス交換は車種によりけりですけど多分400ドル位から？ある程度はネット上でも調べられると思うので、Google とかで Windshield 車種名 で
見てみてください。

フロントガラスのひびは小さいものでも交換した方がいいと思います。
小さいものでも、確実に伸びているようなら即交換してください。危険です。
ディーラー純正は高いですが、街のAuto Glass shopなら大体150ぐらいからです。
以前電話帳で調べて替えてもらった時、なぜかTorranceよりGardenaに多くこの手のお店がありました。

僕も大分前にフロントガラスにひびが入り交換したのですが、そんなに高くなかったと思いますよ。もう２年以上前の話なのではっきりとは覚えてませんが、１２０ドルくらいだったような気がします。でも小さいひびならRepair Kitで十分なんじゃないでしょうか？もし交換したいのであれば、YellowPageでAUTOのSectionを見ればAutoGlassRepairってのがいっぱい出てくると思うので、何件か電話して見積もってもらうのがいいと思います。
