私は語学学校生でSSNを持っていないのですが、ロスで入れる保険を探しています。ブルークロスとかあるけど、どれが一番いいのですか？日本からの保険はいっているけど、滞在期間が長いため、アメリカの保険に変えた方がいいそうです。SSNありの方や、なしの方の保険について教えてください。

保険に入るのはすごくいいことですが、語学学生のようにかなり若いうちは重い病気になる確率はかなり低いので、高い保険料を払うだけで終わるように思います。
保険というのは、治療費が莫大で払えないかもしれない事を想定して加入しますよね。歯の治療費はそれ程ではないから保険がなくてもそれほど困りませんが、手術とかのために加入する意味はあると思います。
沢山の人達をみていると、大体３５歳あたりから重い病気が出始め、４０代ではあちこちの人が入院とか手術しています。２０代で重い病気になった人は見当たりません。
学生なら低収入者向けの医療機関を利用するのも手かもしれません。日系でもあったようです。答えになっていなくてすみません。

語学学校生のみんなは日本の保険でまかなっているのでしょうか。
日系の低収入者向けの医療機関教えてください。お願いします。

日本語情報誌（オレンジとかいう．．．）にAsian Health Project & T.H.E. Clinic（アジア人保険サービス）というのが載っていました。非営利団体で低収入向けだとか。電話帳で調べたら、323-295-6571、3860 Ｗ．MartinLutherKingJrBl LAです。日系というよりアジア系ですね。

私は現在BlueCrossですが、学生用のためあんましよくないです。(制限があったり、カバー率が低い。普通の検診は一回＄20。)
同じ保険でもやはり掛け金に応じてランクがあると思うので、近々にBrueCrossのなかでランクを上げるつもりです。(検診料が一回＄10になる。)
