日本からデジカメを買って来たのですが、全く動かなくなってしまいました。LAで日本のデジカメを修理してもらえる所を知ってる方教えて下さい。

日本メーカーの現地法人として、基本的に外国から持ち込んだ製品はサポートしないというポリシーをとっているところが大方ですが、会社によって差があるので、まずはそのメーカーの米国現地法人に聞いてみてはいかがですか。運良くまるっきり同じモデルが米国で販売されているなら、チャンスは大です。しかし日本での保証は効かないと思いますが。
メーカーの所在地は日系テレフォンガイドで見つけるかそのメーカー名を Yahoo 等で探せば出てきます。
その前に電池まわりは大丈夫でしょうか。電池は十分充電できるかどうか、Charger は健在か、充電式電池も急に死ぬことがあります。

#元某メーカー海外勤務です
エドッコさんがおっしゃるように同じモデルが販売されていれば可能性があるでしょう。
トピックからずれますけれど、サポートできない主な理由は：
・サービスマニュアルが無い
・替えのパーツが無い
・エンジニアが訓練を受けていない
（彼らは新しいモデルが出る毎に訓練を受けています）
モデルチェンジの早いノートパソコンなどは現地のエンジニアを訓練するより日本に送り返した方が安上がりということで、一時期FedExを使うことも検討していました。
販売戦略上国によって販売しているモデルが異なりますが、業者が勝手に並行輸入した商品の修理依頼は困っていました。当地では修理できませんと言ってもお客様は納得してくれません。そりゃそうだろうなぁ。

みなさんヘルプ有難う御座います。 デジカメはCanonのPowerShot A300と言う物です。日本で買った店に持って行けば保証で直してくれるとは思うのですが時間がかかるので、もしこっちで安く直せるのならその方が良いかなぁ〜と思ったので・・・。 ちなみに電池ではないみたいです、新しいのに換えてもうんともすんとも言わないし・・・。
