はじめまして。編入を考えています。collegeを卒業して一年くらい経ち、Visaも今年の8月まで残っています。編入の手続きですが、残高証明はもし21000ドル必要なのであればそれ以下でなければいいんでしょうか？また、残高証明を英語でしてもらう場合、どこでやってもらえるんですか？知っている方いらっしゃったら教えてください。また、collegeを卒業してから少し時間が経ってまた違う大学に行かれる方いらっしゃったら手続きの手順教えてください。

車のタイヤを、そろそろ新しいのに替えようと思っているのですが。
どなたか、安いタイヤ屋を知ってる方いますか？？
４本で、大体いくらぐらいするのでしょうか？

4for$100 とは非常に魅力的ですが、多分タイヤだけの値段だろうし、バランス、取り付け料、タックスなど総合すると倍くらいになる可能性もあります。注意してください。お店はどこかで利益を作らなければなりませんからね。
極端に安いタイヤの中には、Retreaded 等の名の再生タイヤがあります。私も昔非常に安いので買ったことがありますが、私の場合１万マイルももちませんでした。「安物買いの銭失い」を地でいっちまいました。

ネオバさん、
私も一般的には純正指定ってぇのはあまり好きではありません。純正と言うことでより高く払わされることがままありますからね。
#15 で言ったように、このことでは車自体の投資額に見合うには純正しかなかったのでした。また、Yokohama を選んだ理由は、安さと日系メーカーなら問題ないかなぁと思ったからです。どこ製であろうと What you pay is what you get が当てはまることもあります。

エドッコさん、気になって検索かけてみたら確かにそのようなレポートはありました。
日本にいたとき車関係で働いていて、そのような話は聞いた事が無かったので
思い込みから否定的なレスをしてしまいました。すみません。
ちなみにＬＳ400とありましたので、時期が合えば50％の確率（昼勤、夜勤がありますので）で、
エドッコさんは僕の作ったパーツを搭載された車に乗っていたと思います。
なんか面白いですよね。
ネオバさん、昔ネオバ履いてました。
僕はバリバリのヨコハマ党です。

あの左右非対称パターンのＳタイヤのようなグリップと減り方が魅力ですよね。
スリップサインの３〜４分山ぐらいがタイムを出しやすいおいしい状態。
マニアックな話ですみません。

どんなパーツだったのか興味がありますねぇ。９０年型を３年、９３年型を８年乗りました。
トランスミッションの上を這っているバキュームのパイプなら、あれには泣かされました。たった１０ドルくらいの空洞のパイプですが、それが破けてエンジンの回転に合わせてブーンと唸るのです。そのパイプの交換はトラスミッションをおろさないとだめだそうで、Labor だけで８００ドルくらいかかりました。高級車とは言え８年も乗るもんじゃぁないですね。

聞きました。
私はCosta Mesaに住んでいますが、この付近で、無料または格安で通える
夜間の語学学校をご存知の方がいらっしゃいましたら教えて下さい。
I-20の発行が目的ではなく、語学学習のサポートとして利用したいと考えています。

アダルトスクールのほとんどが夜間に高校や、ミドルスクールといったどこかの学校の教室を使って、英語に限らずいろいろな教科を教えていると思います。http://www.orangeworks.org/adult.htmlを参考にしてみて下さい。

クレジットカードを新しくアメリカで作ったのですが、支払方法はどうなのでしょうか？口座自動引き落としか、それか請求書みたいなのが後から送られてきてそれをチェックか何かで送り返すのでしょうか？

今自分は、カナダからＬＡまで車での旅行を考えているのですが、カナダの車をアメリカで売ることは可能なのでしょうか？どなたか知っている方はいませんか？？お願いします。

もちろん可能です。しかし買った人がその車を登録する際の手続きはちょいと面倒で時間もかかるので、売る価格は相場よりは安くならざるを得ないですね。州によっては多少の改造も必要です。たとえばキロ表示（カナダ）等ですが、NYだけだったような気もします。輸入車として税関を通っている必要もあるので、入国の際に申告しておくと後で手間がかかりません。自分で登録を済ませてから売るのでしたらローカルの車とまったく同じですが時間がないと思いますので、またカナダまで車で帰った方がよいと思います。

修理をすれば、まだ乗れるとは思うのですが（９２年トヨタ）、修理をしても、また他のところが故障する・・・という状態で修理費がばかになりません。数ヶ月前からエンジンがかからなくなり、それ以来、乗っていません。もう、この車を廃車にして、中古車を買おうかな、と考えているのですが、こういう動かない車を廃車にするには、どうしたらいいのでしょうか？または、こういう車を引き取ってくれる業者などあるのでしょうか？ご存知の方、教えて下さい。

寄付をするところに連絡をすれば車をひきとりにきてくれますよ。google.comからdonation car を検索すれば見つかりますし、確か日系の団体もあったと思います。
