こっちで買ったパソコンにWinmxをダウンロードしたのですが日本語パッチをすると文字化けしてしまいます。
Windows XPなのでメールやメッセに関しては問題なく日本語がうてるのですがオンライン上やWinなどのソフト上で日本語が使えない場合があります。どうすればいいですか？誰か知ってる方がいたら教えてください。

WinMX でのトラブルについては分かりませんが、想像するに英語版 Windows XP の日本語化が完全ではないのではないでしょうか。中途半端な処理でも日本語が書けて読めてしまいます。http://bythebay.web.infoseek.co.jp/index.html や http://www.nihongo-ok.com/method/011005_xp_gonmethod.htm あたりをもう一度読んで見てください。
ところで WinMX は日本語パッチの必要性がありますか。Windows が完全な日本語環境なら WinMX は英語版そのままで和文も通り問題ないはずですけど。

control panelからregional and language optionsのなかの設定で、どこかわすれたけど、Japaneseを選択したら私のはそれでOKでした。
