I think it is unusual that each airline handles the Covid Test for entry into the US for international flights differently, even though the US CDC indicates that there is a rule for the Covid Test for entry into the US.

I returned to Honolulu on 4/21 by JAL. The day before, I took the antigen qualitative test at Kinoshita Group in Shibuya and received the result in about 30 minutes.
I presented the printout at check-in. The CDC does not require a paper form, so I only needed to present the negative certificate saved on my phone to check in.

When I returned to Japan earlier this month, I was able to use the free PCR test kit distributed by the U.S. government and easily test myself with an online appointment.
The PCR test kit is CDC-approved, so you can test at home with no hassle.
You open the box in front of the inspector online, follow the instructions, and the negative proof is emailed to you immediately.
It costs $ 25 for the issuance of that document, but Kinoshita may be the cheapest at 1900 yen, but there is a possibility of rejection ？

Why not use the free PCR test kit from the government rather than take that risk ？?
Maybe because there is no internet access in Japan and remote testing is not possible ？
Maybe because it is easy, reliable, and inexpensive ？ I am not surprised.
PCR test kits approved by the US government can certainly be used back home in the US.
If you live in the U.S., the government distributes 8 kits for free. ？
And you should use them because they expire at the end of July.

The Kinoshita Group states that the Quick Antigen Quantitative Test is at the level of overseas travel, but nowhere does it say that it is suitable for overseas travel, and when I inquired, the following answer came to me when I had forgotten.
