If the severance pay was deposited into your bank account after you were completely laid off, you do not have to report it, but you must report all other bonuses, paid vacations, and severance pay deposited prior to your complete termination date. In the case of a temporary termination Furlough, everything must be reported because it is not a complete termination.

Overpayments can make the payment process longer and longer, so it is best to double check with your employer to make sure that your labor reports are consistent with those they submit to the DLIR （ UI office ） before you file them. I think this will prevent overpayment.
