ペットが可哀想って感情論のみだと現実的な話が出来ない。
アメリカ人がペットをシェルターに持って行かないっていう自分に都合の良い思い込みも笑える。
世の中のこと何も知らないんだなあ。

シェルター内の安楽死ってどんな方法でやるんですか？
ガス室とかじゃなく、一匹づつ注射なんですか？
あと、月に何匹位安楽死目的で飼い主が連れてくるのでしょうか。

アメリカではガス室なんて使いませんよ、全て個別に鎮静剤を投与してから、麻酔薬の注射をします。
安楽死のリクエスト件数は地域によってかなりの差があると思いますが、それほど多くないです。
月に1件あるかないかです。
飼い主から安楽死をリクエストされても、最終的な判断は獣医師が決めます。

それは何年前の話ですか？
今でこそガス室はほとんど過去の話と言える状況まで来ていますが、30-40年前もそうだったんですか？？
ばいきんまんさんの話は、今40代の息子さんが2,3才の頃に飼った犬の話。
犬は全うしても12-15年が寿命。
しかもシェルターでご家族4人に「看取られて」安楽死、、みたいな事をその後におっしゃってますが、手続きをふんで預かって／引き取ってもらって、シェルターの都合に合せて殺処分ではないですか？
