Please let me know if you know of a doctor in Orange County who can issue a certificate to Japan or if you have actually received one. The consulate's website only lists Los Angeles. I would also like to know where I can get a PCR test in Orange County to fulfill the documents to be sent to Japan, and what the fee is. I would also like to know if there are any places where I can take a regular PCR test for free, regardless of whether I am going to Japan or not.

The aircraft that went down in Indonesia the other day was not the latest Boeing 737 Max that has been out of service since 2019, as I mentioned in another topic. the B737MAX is still grounded and not a single aircraft is flying worldwide.

The plane in the recent accident was an older B737-500 that had been flying for 26 years.

The only flight between LAX and Japan is ANA's NH005/NH006, which still flies daily. The aircraft is a B777-300ER, and it continues to fly even with the Corona Disaster, so I think it is safe.

I returned home last November 1 and returned to LA on December 1. I arrived at Haneda and immediately took the PCR test. The time required was 15 minutes. The results are immediately available. Even then it was illegal to leave the airport by public transportation. I had arranged a hire car as per the government, but no one ever checked it. Even if you test negative, you are required to stay at home for 14 days, and the government will contact you every morning on line to confirm. Of course, you are free to do whatever you want. There were about 30 people on the plane both going and returning. By the way, on the way back to Haneda Airport, all restaurants, stores, and exemptions were closed at 5:00 pm, except for a sushi restaurant.

I also needed to return home and called all the consulate lists, but
they either didn't connect or didn't do PCR or were all dead.
I was also told that the antigen test would give me the results in 15 minutes. I was so happy to hear that
there are two types of antigen tests and they only do the one that they don't accept
I was so disappointed. Consulate, get a grip ！.

I too may need to return to Japan next month and am doing some research.
The consulate list seems to be updated （ added ） each time, but it is tight to have the results rewritten on the designated form to receive them in a limited 72 hours.

I saw an article the other day that said the LAX PCR is $125 and the results are available in 3-5 hours, which meets the requirements for some Latin American countries, but I was not sure if it is safe to go to Japan, partly because Japan is now （ stopping foreigners from entering the country ） with some exceptions. I'm not sure if it is safe to go to Japan. If I find out, I will share it here, but if anyone is using it, I would like to know.
