I am a student studying abroad in Hawaii. I am currently looking for a car. I am learning late at night and if I am lucky, someone I know will give me a ride, but it is difficult to ask every time, and I really need one.

I am looking on Facebook market and craigslist, but they sell quickly and my lack of knowledge makes it impossible to make my own decisions about engines and oil. I have been looking on Vivinavi, but I have not been able to find a good car.
I am a student, so I cannot buy a new car.
I am looking for a Japanese car (Toyota Corolla, Nissan Versa, etc. ）) in 2015 or older. My budget is around $8000.

I am divorced from my American husband after 10+ years of marriage. I am a citizen.
My ex-husband is now old enough to receive a pension, and I have heard that if you divorce after 10 years, you can receive half of your ex-husband's pension amount.
