9月からLAに留学する者です。今は日本で英語の勉強していますが、ひとつ英語を教えてください。「西暦1995年は英語で nineteen nintyfiveですが 2004年は、twenty
oh four というのですかそれとも twothouthand-four と言うのですか？」
LAあたりの人々は一般的にどう言っていますか？

サンタさん、いつもお世話になってます。ところで2000&4とはtwo thousand and four と発音するという事ですか？
発音はtwo thousand fourでいいですよ。

two thousand four もしくはtwo thousand 'n' four(音は最初のとほぼ同じ）でいいです。
でも、ニュースでの発表の場合や、プレゼンで”今年の”ということを強調するときはtwo thousand & fourとなるってわけです。日常についてだろうからまぁいいか。。

んー、two thousand & four ですか？
私はニュースでも人からでも聞いた事がありません。普通は two thousand fourですよね？多分＆を入れても間違えではない気はしますが＆を抜かして言う方が一般的に使われていると思いますが・・・
アメ人の友達に聞いてみます。

ほとんどのアメ人はtwo thousand fourですね。
ただ何人かはtwo thousand & fourでもいいとは言ってました。でも&を入れない方がcommonだと言ってます。はい。
