以前、ラグナビーチに初めて行った時フリーウェイに乗ろうとしたら、わけのわからない道路が出てきて、それを走っていたらそのうち、４０５にぶつかったので無事かえってこれたのですが、後日料金未払いで４０ドルのペナルティー請求がレターで届きました。料金を払う所も無かったので、意味が分かりません。知ってる方教えてください。

それはきっとトールロードのことですね。有料道路を知らず知らずに走っていたようで、カメラにちゃんと撮られていた為後から請求書が届いたのでしょうね。普通は標識があるはずですが、ＬＡのフリーウェイはややこしいですから、見落としてしまったのかも知れません。トールロードはわざわざ支払いをするためにブースを探してお金を払わないといけないシステムになっています（先払いのパスがない限り）。ラグナビーチ側のトールロードは乗ったことがないのでいくらか分かりませんが、山側の１３３や２４１でしたらたまに利用しますが、全く同じ条件です。こんなこともあるんだな、新しいことを学んだなと思い、ペナルティはやはり払うべきだと思います。

え？ＴＯＬＬって普通に払うところなかったっけ？？？払ってからじゃないと乗れなくない？あとパス持ってる人ようにちゃんと入り口みたいなのがあった気が・・・・。

ニューポートビーチに行く途中マッカーサーで出そこなって次の出口の前の支払い所で４ドル取られたことがあります。マッカーサーまでは無料なんです。
料金払う場所がありますが、すどうり出来るようにもなっています。すどうりしてしまったのですね。ややこしい英語ですどうりするのも無理ないですよ。罰金が欲しくてややこしくしているのかしら？？？

罰金は払わんとしゃーないでしょ。
有料道路とは関係無いが、LAの穴だらけの凸凹道どーにかしてほしい。
１本＄４００のアルミが曲がった。
クレームはやっぱ道路公団に？
CALTRANS？でしたっけ？
