I live in Japan. The Japanese economy seems to be affected by Corona, as many small companies are affected....the percentage of female suicides in August is increasing....such a famous actress died.... I don't know if Corona has anything to do with it, but....
I walked around Shinagawa station the other day and it was very lively and crowded. Also, the other day I went to Osaka for fun using go to travel. The liveliness is coming back. Yes.

It seems that I can go directly to Japan. Please bring a copy of your old family register as well as a doctor's certificate. The Immigration Bureau will make the final decision whether you can enter the country or not. Since you are in violation of the passport law, you should turn yourself in to the consulate and return your old passport in order to prevent the immigration authorities from pursuing you in case you are denied entry. This will greatly reduce your chances of being denied entry.

Even if you are able to enter the country successfully, you are required to stay in quarantine for two weeks.
