Living in a hotel for 14 days is like a prison because you basically can't even leave your room.


＞ 4 US states including Michigan （ Tennessee, Florida, Minnesota ）

I didn't care about this since these are other states, but people returning from these 4 states are also in trouble.


Well, I still envy them that they can enter Japan and move freely after their prison life is over.

Anyway, with the number of infected people increasing and the Olympics in the near future in jeopardy,
it looks like it will be next year before we US citizens can enter Japan.

Immediately after returning to Tokyo after completing the first leg of the Shikoku Pilgrimage in 2014, I wanted to walk the Usui Pass on the old Shinetsu Line by myself, so I took the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Karuizawa Station and walked 16 km from there to Yokogawa Station. I walked 16 km from there to Yokogawa station.

This "Megane Bridge" is on the way. I won't go into the details as they are all written on this site, but it is hard to believe that this bridge was built about 120 years ago when you see it in front of you, which is made of all bricks and is very high.
