I have seen the movie "Sand Instrument" a long time ago, but I forgot the story completely and only remember Kyoko Kishida in a big hole dug on the beach.

Actually, it is "kame-dake", but the witness's memory was "kame-da". So the first part of the movie was a hearing at "Kameda" in Akita prefecture. It was a wasted trip, though.
