I have lived in 6 different room share houses so far.

I have looked for rooms on Vivinavi, Facebook, Craigs List, Zumper.com, Bungalow.com, etc.

I looked for a room share that I could sign up for on short notice because I had an internship for 3 months or a job with transfers every 9 months. It would save me money on room and board.

One thing to keep in mind when looking for a room is that it is better to visit and show the room in person as much as possible before making a decision.

If you want to decide on a room before you come to the U.S., you can use FaceTime, LINE or Facebook video call to see the landlord's face and ask to see the room to rent, kitchen, living room and the outside of the house.

You should also ask if there are any restrictions on the use of the kitchen and living room, what kind of people live in the house as a whole, and check the roommates.

Then, if you drive a car, you should also ask if there are parking spaces available and if it is easy to find a parking space ？ if you are parking on the street. Around the apartment, when you come home at night, there may be no parking space and you may have to park your car far away.

In the past total, I called 8 times to room rental agencies and asked them about vague information.

As a result, I prefer to live alone, Rent Cafe, Radio Korea, etc. are also available.

I moved to a cheaper place and my money luck went down accordingly, so it was all the same in the end.
