以前あったモービルホームのトピを探したら、期限切れなので新たに立ててくださいとのことでした。
年齢を重ねて、そろそろ終わりから考えて生活を考える時になりました。
若くて働いていて体が動く間は一軒家や普通のアパート暮らしをしていても、年を取るとそうもいきません。
そこでモービルホームも一つの選択かと思います。最近たまたま訪ねた所がそうだったのですが、
１）コミュニティになっていて、日系人が多く住んでいそう。特にサウスベイ方面です。
２）家を買っても毎年高い不動産税を払います。モービルホームの購入は一軒家よりは安いが場所代は必要。そうすると、家の値段との差の分は安くなるのでしょうか。
３）老人向けのコミュニティなら治安もよさそう。たまたま夜訪ねた時ですが、そのパークは騒音もなかったです。
ただ、以前のトピで２００９年頃でも、かなり高額になっているとのことでした。
実際の所はどうでしょうか。
今後調べて行きますが、皆さんからも情報をいただければ幸いです。

モービルホームって資産価値はあんまないですが、建物自体の価格は安いので固定収入が年金やソーシャルセキュリティーしかない老人でもローンが組めるんですよね。前はなんであんなHOAがクソ高いところに住みたがるんだろうと思ってましたが、最近は２BRアパートでも平気で家賃２０００ドル近いんで、労働収入がないと審査ではじかれます。
アメリカは老人には本当に厳しい国。逆に日本は高齢者天国すぎて少子高齢化が加速して地盤沈下しそうだけど。。。
