炊飯器の買い替えを考えてますが、アメリカで日本の炊飯器で手に入る物で5カップで＄300あたりでオススメがあれば、教えて下さい。宜しくお願い致します。

お勧めの銘柄を知りたいんだと思うけど、こちらでは日本の家電量販店みたいに詳しい店員とかいないもんね。
アマゾンジャパンやカカクコムとかで口コミ評価を調べて、気に入ったものがこちらでも売られているか日系スーパーで探すのが、手間はかかるけど一番納得感が大きいやり方なんじゃないかな。

アマゾンの口コミで見る限りZojirushiに人気が集中していますね。（販売シェアにもよりますが・・・）
価格は２割以上日系スーパーの方が安いようです。（ミツワオンラインショッピング参照）
最近の日本の家電は、高機能でシンプルかつ低価格なジェネリック家電がトップメーカーの脅威になっています。
特許が切れたワンシーズン前のトップメーカーの機能をそのまま使用しています。
その分、修理などサービス面に力を入れることができ、価格も半値以下に抑えられるようです。
