トヨタさんの引越しは別として、日本人が
ロスアンゼルスからどんどんいなくなってる気がしますし、又こちらに来る日本人も少なくなってるような気がしますが、
それは何故ですか？トランプ大統領のせい？ 他に理由は何ですか？

私の観察では、トヨタが引っ越す数年～10年前からその傾向が出ています。やはり日本のお家芸だった車と電気製品の2本柱のひとつ電気製品の低迷です。サンヨーやシャープがいい例でしょう。その他日本の景気の低迷で当地の現地法人の縮小や閉鎖が続いて、駐在員がガタ減りしたこと。現地日系企業がなくなれば現地採用の日本人も生活ができなくなり帰国した人はかなりいるはずです。
駐在員ばかりでなく、留学生（游学生）も大学の授業料が外国籍の学生に対し鰻登りに上がりめっきり減りました。
今でもここで生活のできている人は、トランプが大統領になったからと言って帰国することはないでしょう。
私はこう感じています。
