However, I have heard from the Unemployment Insurance Help Team that there are so many people who have been completely laid off this year, so I would like to make this special advice for Rainbow and everyone else who has been completely laid off.

If you have already completed the complete dismissal process with your File a Claim Certification application for the end of April 3, try to open the next File a Claim Certification to the stage just before you press the Submit button. Check to see if the employer information is missing. If the employer information is gone, you do not need to Reactivate a Claim. If not, you need to apply for Reactivate a Claim.
*The above procedure has changed since the UI system was upgraded last winter.

Probably due to Benefit Year End expiration. Another possibility is that the Reactivate a Claim application can only be submitted "Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:30 AM". Outside of this time frame, an error message will be displayed.

Yes. First, please wait for the Benefit Year End deadline to be automatically extended, and if it is not automatically extended by April 12, please contact the call center.

The April 10 File a Claim Certification application is due April 17, so it has to be filed by the deadline anyway. Since Rainbow has already filed for complete termination with the April 3 File a Claim Certification, you should first check to see if the employer information is missing from the April 10 File a Claim Certification application. If not, please file a Reactivate a Claim after the Benefit Year End deadline is automatically extended.

Sort it out again.
The steps are as follows.

① Complete termination on March 31
② Complete termination on the File a Claim Certification application due April 3
③ File a Claim due April 10 Certification Application, just before clicking the Submit button, check if the employer information is missing. If it is gone, you do not need to apply for Reactivate a Claim.
④ If the employer information has not disappeared, apply for Reactivate a Claim for complete termination （ If you cannot apply for Reactivate a Claim due to the expiration of Benefit Year End ）
⑤ File a Claim Certification application by the April 10 deadline
⑥ File a Claim Certification application by the April 17 deadline Certification application for April 17 by the deadline

Note:
●File a Claim Certification applications are due every Saturday. Please make sure to apply before the deadline.
●Since the UI system has been upgraded, the Reactivate a Claim application has had some of the same questions as EB20. If you still get the same questions today, please refer to #353 and #354 in the "PEUC Unemployment Insurance 13 Week Extension Program" Topic.

if you are completely laid off, you must job search at least 3 companies per week.
Also, you must register with hirenethawaii.com.
Failure to do so will result in loss of eligibility.
I know someone who was required to submit a job search address.
I keep a paper record and archive it so that I can submit it at any time.
