Ｘ'ｍａｓにディナーに行こうと思っています。
普段は高いお店は行けないけど、クリスマスぐらい素敵なお店におしゃれして行ってみたいので、どなたかＬＡ近辺で美味しくてロマンチックなフレンチかイタリアンを教えてください。

25日はレストラン大抵しまってるけどさ、24日に食べに行けばいいじゃない？まあ、でも今からだと人気のあるレストランは予約とれないけどねー。

夜のお仕事っていろいろでしょうねぇ。夜間工事に限らず・・・警察官、消防署、２４時間レストラン、スーパーの夜間マネージャー、ホテル勤務、空港勤務などなど。実際にはさんたさんの彼の仕事は警察官じゃない、夜の仕事かもしれないけど、わざわざこの掲示板で言う事もない思いますよ〜〜〜昼の仕事っていってもいろーーーーんな種類の仕事があって、世の中回ってる気がするしね。

みなさま いろいろ教えていただいてどうもでした。 クリスマスは何処も閉まっていて無理と言う結論に達したので、去年同様家で過ごす事にします。 イベントにおしゃれしてお出かけするって言うのがやりたかったんですが、お店が開いていないならしょうがないです… フランス料理でも作って食べる事にしますね。 ぁ… ちなみに彼氏は医療関係で毎日夜仕事ってわけではないのです（笑）でもなぜかイベント時にはお仕事はいっちゃうんですよね…（涙）それでは皆様も素敵なクリスマスを過ごしてくださいね〜

ダウンタウン内にある一服できる店って聞いたけど、
場所もいまいちわからない。
どこにあるんですか？
あそこってどんな店なんですか？

フォーカスは、１st、２nd、サンピドロに囲まれた、ちょっと分かりにくい場所だが、都インの南裏、ユニオンバンクの北裏、J-Waveの上といえば分かるだろうか。日本の喫茶店風で、マンガや週刊誌がたくさん置いてあり、軽食もある。日替わりランチもある。おすすめ料理は特にはないが、ラーメン、カレーはまぁまぁだ。
タバコは吸える。一応メンバー制をとっているかららしいが、俺は聞かれたことはないし、タバコは吸わない。
カラオケボックスもある。

誰でも会員になれますよ。受付で「会員になりたい」と言うだけ。当然日本語ＯＫ。私も以前はそこでタバコを吸ってましたから。メシもそこそこ美味いですよ。ただ、残念なのは日本の喫茶店と一緒でドリンクがお代わりできないし、量も少ない。

メンバーズカードを買わなくても、たしか$1ぐらい払ったら、たばこ吸えました。これからよく利用されるのであれば、メンバーシップをゲットされるべし。
あそこでは、ハンバーグ食べてました。味は悪くないです。#4さんのおっしゃる通り、量は少なめです。

UCLAに行くには実際どのくらいのGPAが必要なのか知りたいです。学科によって違ってくると思いますが私の場合は心理専攻です。UCLAに詳しい人もしくはUCLAに実際行ってる人教えて下さい。

これはＧＰＡいくらって言えない。基本的には最低ＧＰＡは設定してあるけど。
高校やコミカレから入る場合はＧＰＡプラスＳＡＴ（またはそれに順ずるテスト）、ＡＣＨテスト、その他が考慮される。「その他」がクセモノでオレが行った高校でＧＰＡ１．６の奴がバークレーに入ったから（フットボール選手だったけどね）。また、海外の学生なら当然ＴＯＦＥＬも考慮される。
まず、アプライを出してみる事だね。申請にお金かかるけど。

僕はUCSD卒でして、SMCからトランスファーという形で・・・。メジャーはサイエンス方面という事で・・。SMC生だったときのGPAは、う〜〜ん確か3.7位だったっけな。UCLA,UCB、UCSD,UCSC,C、USCあと他州をいくつか。アプライしてUCLA,UCSD,UCSC、USC,他州いくつか、からOK出ましたね。結局第一希望のバークレーは行けず・・・。んで、第二希望だったUCSD行きました。今回の＃１さんの事例に合わせてUCLAについていいますと、当時、僕のメジャーではGPAは3.8
位必要だったんですけど、僕は3.7でOK.一概にGPAと言っても、どのクラスで良い成績を取ったかが大事で、同じGPAでも、メジャーでAとっていて、他のクラスで落としてる方が良いわけで、僕がSMC生だったころ、やたらArt,PE、Music、ESLで良い成績とってGPAあげてる人いたけど、メジャーは殆どBだったので、UC系は全部落ちていましたね。大学側も、ちゃんと詳しくチェックしているので。あと、Fは駄目！Wもせいぜい１個に・・。あ、あと、英語のクラスは初めから連続で取って早期に終わらせるように。これは、意外としられていないUC系の落とし穴です。説明会に行けば話されると思うんだけど、英語は続けて取らないと不利なようです。（なんでだろ？）そんな感じかな。あ、あと、何らかのクラブに所属してる事もおすすめです。

おにぎり(好きなのかな？）さん詳しく説明してくださってありがとうございます！！GPAと一言で言っても中身が大切なんですね。英語を続けて取った方がいいって言うのは全然知りませんでした。

えーとよくある問題だとおもうんですけど。アパート借りる時にデポジットと、もしくはクレジットヒストリーがないときは、クレジットとして余分にお金を要求されますよね？それでムーブアウトしてからお金が戻ってくるっていうプロセスのことで問題が起きてるものなんですけど。その払った時のレシートはちゃんと保持したうえでマネージャーと交渉していましてあっち側はプロセス中だといって一向に返す気がなさそうなんですけど、どうしたらプレスをかけれるようになりますかね？なんせ最近は電話で交渉しようとしても無視までされてるんですよ。 誰か知ってる人がいたら教えてくださいお願いします。

手紙を書くのが一番だと思うけど。
契約書にデポジットはMoveOutしてから何日以内にどうこうするっていうのが書いてあるからそうかいてあるのに返って来ないので、いつまでに返却が無い場合法的処置をとりますってね。
アメリカ人にもこの問題はおこることなので、友人に相談して書いてもらうとか、書いたのをチェックしてもらうとかしたら？

確かCA州法で14ビジネスデイ以内に返さなくてはいけないんじゃない！？私も以前なかなかデポジット返してくれなくて知り合いの弁護士に一筆書いてもらったらすぐに返してくれたよ。

携帯へのかけ方は
011-8-1-90-123-4567です。
通常日本へ掛ける掛け方と同じです。
日本の携帯は 090で始まるので、始めの0は抜いて 011-81にはじめの0を抜いた携帯番号に掛けます。
＃２０さんの掛け方だったらかかりません。間違った情報を書かないで。
11365とか11230の接続はありえません。接続会社は 1010XXXで始まります。例えば、1010345とか、1010220です。
