こんにちは。
ＤＭＶで筆記試験を受かったあと、普通ならインストラクターがいれば運転できるというPermitを貰うと思いますが、それとは別に国際免許と日本の免許を見せればテンポラリーライセンスが貰えるという情報をネットで見ました。
某サイトにその情報が載っており、その方の経験からそう書いていらっしゃいましたが、イマイチ核心がもてません。本当に貰えるのなら、テンポラリーだけでも貰って、運転できるのですが。
どなたかご存知ですか？
学校が明日から始まるためドライビング試験を受けにいく暇がありません。

もう一言いっていいですか？
基本的にDMVは待たされるのもと考えているので、そのいまいち確かでない情報をもとに申請するのに貴重な１，２時間を消費するより、
ネットで試験を予約して一発で合格して免許を取ったほうがはるかによいと思います。

返信ありがとうございます。
本当は試験を受けたいのですが、今はまだ学校のペースを計るため、見合わせているところです。あと試験には２５歳以上の免許保持者が同伴しないと受けれないそうですし。
僕はまだ２３歳なので、一人では無理ですね。ルームメイトが２５歳なのですが、大学院生で、なかなか時間も合わないし、今は考え中です。
しばらくは国際免許でひっそりと運転します。。。
それと？さんが仰っていますが、僕もＤＭＶの表記に疑問を持っています。Residentの定義がよくわからないんですよね。
もし僕ら留学生が移住者扱いで、Resident扱いされてなければ国際免許は使えそうな感じなんですが。
大学ではResidentは州民で、Non-Residentは州外民・外国人ですからねー。
どうなんでしょう。誰かご存知の方いますかー？？

ドライビングスクールに金払って、全部やってもらえば？ ＄７０くらいでスクールの車貸してくれて、教官も一緒にＤＭＶに行ってくれる。
良いスクールはテストのアポまで取ってくれるぞ

DMVによると家を借りたり、大学に授業料を払ったりするとRegident扱いになるみたい。その日から１０日以内にはCA州の免許を取得しないといけませんとなっています．．．いずれにしても国際免許の効力は乏しいからCA州の免許を早めに取得したほうがいいのでは
