I was looking for a trainer years ago, so that would be my knowledge, but I heard that training at home, where they spend the most time, is better, because outside they are smart and listen to the trainer, but when they return home, their behavior reverts back to normal. We have a male toy pooch. I have given up on the potty. I mean, even after educating him, he can do anything where people are not looking. I put training paper on the wall in places where he might do small. The only thing that helps me is that he does the large one on the balcony 95% of the time. When he barks unexpectedly, I shake a shopping bag with about 8 empty cans crushed in the center by hand to quiet him down. Or make sure you are with a lot of people. If you have flashy jewelry, take it off late at night and put it in your bag. This is because it can attract attention.
