LAに来てからずっと、家具付きのシェアに住んでいたのですが、来月引っ越すことになりました。家具はびびなびやCLで買おうと思っていますが、運ぶための人手をどう手配しようか考えています。皆さんはどうやって引っ越しされてますか?やっぱり、びびなびに広告を出している業者を使いますか?CLでもすごく沢山広告が出ていますが、ぼったくりや強盗などの危険はあるのでしょうか?手頃な値段でかつ、安心して頼めるサービスがありましたら、教えてください。

ドラマや映画(三谷幸喜?)等で面白可笑しいストーリーありますよね。
変な霊を家に招いちゃって一緒に住み、霊と駆け引きしたり
情が移り「あの世に行かないで(成仏)ずっと一緒に住もうよ」となったり。
そういう風に霊とお話ししたり見える人になりたいなとおもわせてくれるのが最近見た「ステキな金縛り」です

アメリカで住むことの楽しさの一つがDIYなのです。
壊れたからってすぐに新しい物に飛びつかない。
何とかして使えるように「自分で」何とかしようとする。
日曜大工と言ったって本格的で、Home Dxxxx に備えている立派な工具類を見てください。
引っ越しをしたけりゃ自分で、U-Hxxxを借り、友達を呼んで半日でやっつけりゃいいではありませんか。
……そんな貧乏くさいことやってられるかとうそぶく人々は、しばらくすると日本へお帰りです。そうしてますますアメリカの日本人社会はさびれていくのです。郷に入っては郷に従えでないですからね。

＃９さんのU-Haulのアイデアに付け足します。大体、どこのTruck Rental でもその周辺にメキシコ人のDay Laborerがうようよしているはずです。アメリカ人の場合、彼等を数人、呼んで引越しなどの手伝いをさせます。Home DepotなどでもDay Laborerを良く見かけます。引越しやPaintなどあまり技術を要さない仕事に向いてます。
