初めまして。
Opt のEADを紛失してしまって日本にOPT 中一時帰国しょうと思っていましまが、絶対にEADカード必要なのでしょうか。
同じ状況で帰国された方の経験などお伺いしたいです。勿論、会社から証明書は頂けます。

OPTを出した学校に問い合わせるのが一番、最新で正確な情報が得られると思いますが、関連ウェブサイトの情報では、有効なF1ビザとEADカードがないと再入国できないと書いてありました。
あくまで私の意見ですが、トランプ政権ではアメリカ国外滞在中に突然、移民法が変わる可能性もあり、市民権保持者以外は再入国を保障されていないと感じます。
よほど重要な用件でない限り、OPT終了まで待ったほうがよいのではないでしょうか。

日本ではなく別の国に旅行してアメリカに戻ってきたのですが、税関でI-20を見せてOPTということを確認されただけで、EADや会社の証明書等は確認されませんでした。でも万が一の為、前の方が言う通り帰国しなければいけない理由がなければ、出来るだけアメリカ出国しない方がよいかなと思います。
