ちなみに、
こっちでは、Region Freeの
DVDをミツワやアジア系の
電気店やたまにスーパーでかえますよ
その場合日本の物をみれます。

でも、PCだったら見れますよね？もし、日本のRegion Codeを書き換えたらもう日本のDVDは見れないのですか？

ＰＣのリージョンの書き換えは制限回数があるはずです。何回かは１にしたり２にしたりできますよ。
しかし、いまどきリージョン云々の話が出てくるとは・・・。
ちなみに、日本以外のアジア諸国、ヨーロッパなども違いますよ。たとえば中国だったらリージョン３とか、ヨーロッパだったらＰＡＬといって、方式自体違ったり。

その前に、トピ主さんは DVD のソフト（映画等）か DVD プレイヤーかが書かれていませんよね。おみやげとあるのでソフトかなぁ。

前にも同じようなトピがありましたが、プレイヤーだったら CyberHome 社の CH-DVD 300 あたりがお勧めですね。私も BestBuy で $39.99 で買いました。リモコンから２、３、隠しコマンドを入れるとリージョンフリーになります。大きさも 9x9x2 Inch で切り替えなしの 100V - 230V に対応しています。

私も帰国時に日本のＤＶＤとアメリカＤＶＤ対応のプレーヤーを買って帰りました。時々ＵＳ入りした時にＤＶＤを買っては日本で見てますよ。
