よく日本にいた時にアメリカ産の牛肉は
えさに含まれるホルモン剤が女性にとって乳がんの原因になる可能性が
あるのでとらないようにした方が言いと聞きました。
アメリカにいる今、アメリカ産の牛肉をまったく食べないわけには
いかないと思いますが、それでも避けた方がいいのでしょうか。
それとも毎日採るレベルで影響が出る程度なのでしょうか。

遺伝子組み換えを心配してますが、
実験室で試験管でする作業始める以前に昔からある、
虫が付きづらくなった米とか
種無しぶどうとか
動物だって、牛、鶏、豚それぞれ、いろいろな他種目を交配して生まれたのが昔からあるし。
これも、遺伝子組み換えてるんでしょ?
だって、自然界ではもともと存在しなかった品種ですから。
そんな食物を生まれたときから口にしてます。
昔やり方の遺伝子組み換えはOKで
現代の遺伝子組み換えはバツ?

遺伝の詳しい仕組みはわかりませんが、品種改良は元々持ってる遺伝子の微小な変異を利用してるわけですが、GMOは違う動植物の遺伝子を強制的に組み込んだり自然界の変異の範疇を超えてるのが問題なんではないでしょうか?
組み込んでいる遺伝子も害虫や細菌への耐性など有害の可能性が否定できないものもままありますよね?

アメリカの牛肉を何人の根っからのアメリカ人女性は食べているでしょうか。
人数は限りなく100%に近いと思います。そしてその人たちのナンパーセントが
牛肉摂取がもとで乳がんにかかっているでしょうか。
その辺を考慮に入れ牛肉を食うか食わないかの判断をしてください。
アメリカの構造的な問題で食品の危険性を訴えている人がいますが、さて日本は
どうなんでしょう。私は似たり寄ったりだと思います。それより中国での食品の
危険性から見れば日本やアメリカは Heaven です。
