当方、GC保持者です。婚姻によるものですが、10年以上保持しており、条件付きなどではありません。
アメリカ入国時の空港のイミグレーションのキオスクでは、GC保持者はパスポートではなくGCのみを顔写真を上にして(間違えているかもしれません)スキャンすればいいだけですよね？
私は過去5-6回利用しましたが、印刷されて出てくるレシートに必ずXが付き、結局長い列に並び直して係の方とのやりとりの後、指紋を採取してスタンプを押してもらわなければなりませんでした。アメリカ市民である配偶者はいつも◯なので、てっきりアメリカ市民だけ◯が付くものだと思っていたら、GC保持者の方は大抵◯が付くと言うことをネットで見て驚いています。
私の何がいけないのでしょうか？ご存知の方いらっしゃいましたら教えてください。よろしくお願いします。
ちなみに、オーバーステイや犯罪歴(日米両方)などは無いです。税関で引っかかった事もないです。GC取得もスムーズで、申請してから4カ月ほどで取れました。

いいえ、不法滞在になった事は一度もないです。語学学校→カレッジ→四年制大学 のステップです。
