ハリウッドを目指しています。
こちらで１，２カ月間滞在してその間にオーディションを受けようと思うのですが、ビザはなくても大丈夫でしょうか?必要だとしたら、何ビザを申請すればいいのでしょうか?
ビザがなくてもいい場合、もし、仕事をもらえて、働いた場合、ペイの受け取りに支障はないのでしょうか?
どなたか、ご存じの方がいらっしゃいましたら、教えていただけますか?
よろしくお願いします。

日本で充分な実績のあった野茂英雄投手が初めてメジャーリーグに挑戦したとき、メジャーリーグはストライキ中でした。そのため、彼はドジャーズからのサポートがあったにもかかわらず、ビザを取る事が出来ませんでした。そのため、野茂投手は最初はマイナー契約でした。彼ほど日本で実績があった人でさえ、就労ビザを取得するのは難しい事です。トピ主さんがSMAP並みに実績があっても、簡単ではありません。

ビザがなくてもオーディションは受けることはできますし、ノンペイの仕事ならば働いても違法にはなりません。ペイのある仕事ならば例えエキストラでもビザが必要ですし、ソーシャルセキュリティナンバーがないとペイを受け取ることもできません。俳優の方が申請するビザはOビザ（アーティストビザ）で、エージェンシーがスポンサーになります。日本やアメリカで実績があるという証明を提出する必要があります。
