夫が今の仕事を失うかもしれないと、聞かされました。もちろんすぐに就職活動もはじめています。
今まで専業主婦でしたら、私も働かないといけないと考えるようになりました。子供が６歳と５歳と２歳いて、さらにアメリカに１０年ほど住んでいますが、英語ができません。
こんな私ですが、どのような仕事がありますか?あるいは、どこでどのように仕事をさがせばいいのでしょうか?右も左もわからない状態で。。少しでも教えていただければ幸いです。ちなみに日系のお店などはほとんどない地域に住んでいます。

本当に身動きがとれなくなってからでは遅いと思いますのでまだ考える余裕のある内にどうするのか決めておくのがいいのではないでしょうか?
ご主人と相談されるのも良いのですが意見の食い違いも生じると思います。
ご主人も50歳であれば見栄も外聞も頑固さも大きいと思いますがあなたにとって何を優先するのかしっかり意見する事も大事だと思います。

雇用に関しての権限は、ほぼ一任されております。
残念ながら、経営者ではありませんが…。
主婦のほうが社風にあっているという言い方は、少々妙な表現でしたね。
仕事の内容が、主婦のかたにむいていらっしゃるという意味でした。
（経験や高いスキルなどは、あまり必要がないということです。）

旦那を差し置いてのこのこ主婦が出て行くものではない。
旦那の立場を尊重して、家、財産などいらない、旦那と子供に恵まれているので貧乏でも構わない健康で頑張って、と伝えたら。
これが家庭円満の秘訣。
