メキシコ人と仕事してるけど彼らは絶対自分でタバコを買わないでもらいタバコばかりします。私はないなら吸わない吸いたきゃ自分で買う主義なので毎日の様に乞うてくる気持ちがちょっと知れません。ここ数年メキシカンと仕事してるけど一人として自分でちゃんと買ってる人見た事ないんです。たまにあげるのは全然問題ないけど毎日のように聞いてくると“吸うなら自分で買えよ”って思います。一人ならまだしも何人からも毎日乞われるといささか嫌になります。タバコは他人からもらうものって考えてる気持ちがちょっとわかりません。こんな事考える私はチープで器の小さい人間なのかな〜って自己嫌悪すら感じますが他にメキシカンの仕事をしてる方で同じような気持ちになったからいらっしゃいませんか？

昔は、僕も気前良くあげてましたけど、最近は言われると「１本クォーターだ！」と言ってます。それでブツブツと文句を言うような奴には「No Pay, No Smoke!」と言ってます。だって、こちらではタバコは高いですからねぇ。

Marlboro Lightsさん、僕もそういう毅然とした態度ではっきり言えればこんなに余計なストレスためずに済んだのにな〜って思いますね。気が小さいもんで...。（苦笑）でも気持ちがちょっとすっきりしました。ありがとうございます。

メキシカンだけじゃなくアメリカ人だってそのへんの道端でもらいタバコしようとするよね。でも、NO!と一言はっきり言えばいいと思いますよ。こっちの人って結構リクエストするだけするけどダメって言えばわりとすぐＯＫといって引いてくれるよ。タバコだけじゃなくてルームメート募集した時も、一人だけ募集してるのに二人で住んでもいい？とか、こうしてもいい？ああしてもいい？ってうるさかったけどＮＯと断ればそれ以上しつこくはされなかったよ。
