ロスでパソコンを買おうと思っています。ワードとメールが出来れば良いと思ってます。お勧めのパソコンがあれば教えてください！ノートパソコンで探しています。予算は安ければ安いほど良いのですが、中古でなはく、新品希望です。また、WINXPは日本語で文字を打つことが可能なのでしょうか？皆さんはネットで購入されましたか？それとも店頭ですか？是非意見を聞かせてください。

私もDellはおすすめです！
もし家の外にも持ち出すことがよくあるのであれば、B5のほうがいい（というより軽さ優先？）と思いますが、家の中で使うのであれば画面は大きければ大きいほうがいいのでは？（1024×768ドットは必須ですよね）

久々に書き込みをチェックしたら返信があったので、一応確認しておきます。ま、わからなかったらまたメールしてください。ここでもかまいませんが。。
dellのノートだったらinspiron 1150か1000がいいです。1150はちょびっと値段が高いけど、後でメモリーを増設できます。ワープロとネットでしたら、大事につかえば３、４年は問題ないです。

ワードとメールなら７００ドルの予算でも十分いいのが買えるのでは？もっと安いのでも平気だと思います。
dellもいいけど、pricegrabberとかnexttagとかで探してみるのも手かな。
大体150ドルくらいからのノートが探せますよ。

英語のＸＰなら日本語オフィス、インストール出来ますよ。
私の場合日本語オフィスＸＰとその他色々と日本語のソフトをインストールしましたが今のところ何の問題も不自由もありません。
