Vivinavi Los Angelesドライビングテストの車について

日本から来たばかりの友人が来週DMVの路上試験を受けます。
しかし日本で免許を持っていないので、国際免許がなく、レンタカーも借りることができません。
試験中の事故を考えると、知り合いから車を借りることもできないとのことで相談を受けました。（私も貸しません）
運転している本人に保険がカバーされていることが条件のはずです。
皆さん、どのように車を工面しましたか？
教えてください。
現在、彼女が利用しているドライビングスクールでは150ドルで貸してくれるそうですが、、、

なんかアメリカ人のスクールに聞いたら、90ドルで試験前2時間の慣らし運転、試験の時の貸し出し付だそうです。
ありゃりゃ、なんだそんなに簡単に見つかったんですねぇ。
で、日本での免許なしのみなさん、どれくらいの時間練習して合格しました？？？

私は1回1時間で5日かけて練習しました。雰囲気は#25で書かれているのと全く同じ。5時間教習＋1時間試験で合計6時間。でも私は倍のお金を払ってしまいました。

大体日本で免許がなく、こちらで始めて取った女性の知り合い２人は１２時間くらい（上で書いた倍）やってるようです。でも内容は濃く、最初の一時間が駐車場で、次の一時間からもう一般道を堂々と走ったそうです（おっかない・・・笑）
