２回目のロックダウンになっていたレーバーデーの週末、マキキのラウンドトップドライブのロード脇の見晴らしの良い所まで1人で散歩に行って景色を眺めていたところ警官にチケットを切られました。裁判所に出廷しなくてはなりませんが、市長命令では散歩はオーケーだし、立ち止まって景色を眺めていたのは公園でもなく、ロード脇でクローズのサインも何もなく人だかりもなかったですし、チケットを切られたこと自体が納得できません。ヒアリングでは、質問とか無罪を主張出来るのでしょうか？法廷に行った事がないのでどういう感じでヒアリングが進むのかも含めアドバイスをお願いします。

コートでは無罪の主張ができます。
英語は話せますか？
チケットには通訳者が必要なら電話で予約と書いてありますが、わたしの場合でいうと用意されてたことは一度もありませんでした。
まあ、アメリカなんでこういう事態も想定して自分で通訳者(と言っても英語が話せる友達ですが)を連れて行ったので事なきを得ましたが。
雰囲気にのまれ緊張しますが、ご自分が間違ったことはしてないと思われるなら主張すべきだと思います。頑張ってくださいね。

2回目のロックダウンではハワイ政府がnew orderをいくつか加えて正式発表していますよ。
裁判所に行く前に、警察官がチケットに書いた理由とnew orderを両方読んだほうがいいです。あなたに心当たりがある場合は残念ながら無罪になるのは難しいと思います。
