現在、レストランでバイトしています。SSNは、持っていません。
お給料は、オーナーのパーソナルチェックで受け取ってます。
少し前までは、何も考えず、そのチェックを自分のアカウントに入れてました。
これは、記録が残って問題でしょうか?
チェックを現金化しても同じでしょうか?

そりゃあ、チェックの支払先にあなたの名前なら
残るでしょう。オーナーから現金でもらわない限り。

個人のチェックなら、それがどこかにレポートされるわけもないし、大丈夫でしょ。そのレストランに移民局の査察が入って、オーナーのチェックブックまで検査されてそこに名前のあるあなたが捕まる、って可能性はないことはないけど、普通現行犯じゃないと捕まらないみたいだから大丈夫では?

少しトピずれですが、H1-B申請時において申請したときにOPTが切れている場合は、銀行の明細書の提出を求められるそうです。（先月日本でビザ取得したトモダチが提出をお求められていました）
ビザの申請の際に合法的な労働ステータスがない場合は「働いていない事を証明しなければならない」そうで、定期的に決まった金額が入金されていたり、生活費に事欠くような、残高の場合などは不法就労を徹底的に追求されるようです。
Primary, Secondaryだけではなく隠し口座も必要なようですね、最悪会社が日本にある場合は日本の口座に入金してもらうなど対策を考えておいたほうが良いようです。
