はじめまして。Huntington Beach に住んでいて、引っ越しのためベッドが不要になりました。急いでいるのと、古いものなので売ったり譲ったりするのもどうかと思い、処分を考えています。
粗大ゴミの回収についてあまり情報がなくて困っています。カウンティのCurbside Pickupもいつも電話してもつながりません。714-834-4165
OC内で引き取りしてくれるサービスがありましたら、ご教示ください。処分に関しての環境保護的観点のご意見などはご遠慮願います。

私は新しいベッドセット買った時に、デリバリーの人に古いセットを持って行って貰いました。＄124も、こちらで払ってです、処分料として。
売っても良かったし、市から無料で引き取りにきてもらおうかとも思ったのですが、それまで大きいベッドセットをデンと置いておく所なかった為です。
惜しかった＄124今思えば！

場所によるけど家の前に置いておけば一晩で欲しい誰かが持っていくよ！Freeサインを書いておいたらもっと早い。
高級住宅だとだめと思うけど、義姉は毎回全部それで処分してる。捨てる感じではなく一時置きっぽくしてFreeって書いておけば粗大ゴミを捨てたとは思われないから。

自分の家の前に一時置きは違法じゃないでしょう。誰かが持って行かずにそのまま放置なら問題です。毎回誰かが勝手にフリーと書いてあるものを持っていくなら問題ない。

僕は、古くて個人売買もできそうもない大物家具類は、電動のこぎりで切り刻んでごみ箱に捨てています。Reciprocating Saw というやつです。ベッドなどは楽勝ですよ。ウオーターヒーターはちょっと苦労したかな。歯は木/金属用と各種あります、便利ですよ。$50くらいからあります。

因みに、金属の物は、リサイクル業者に持っていけば割といい金になるよ。
ホントに？と驚くくらいでした。
運んでくガス代、プラスいいお小遣いだったな～
